What is your Diploma course about?

Our Diploma course has been developed by real world cosmetic chemists, who work every day in a lab – MB Cosmetics Laboratory – manufacturing personal care products for real brands. We’ve developed this course with those real experiences in mind, to teach you about skin science, hair science, lab set up, lab cleaning, GMP, skincare formulation, hair care formulation, manufacturing, scaling, brand launch, pricing, customer experience, working with essential oils, etc. We wanted this course to be complete and in-depth and to give you all the tools you need to grow as a cosmetic formulator and cosmetic brand owner!

Do I need prior knowledge to study with you?

No, you can start as a beginner for most of our courses except the advanced diplomas that require you to have passed our general diplomas first (or equivalent).

Will I be able to start my own brand/business after my course?

Yes, our courses are meant to give you all the tools you need to start your own business afterwards. If you work on your project at the same time as you progress in the course and apply your newly acquired knowledge there, you should be ready to launch your brand by the time you get your diploma.

For your formulation courses, do you teach only natural formulation?

No. We teach you to get comfortable with all sorts of ingredients whether natural or non- natural. Our courses focus mostly on natural ingredients but, overall, we teach you to create
both natural and semi-natural formulas. We explain to you the purpose of each ingredient, how to substitute them for more natural alternatives and why we might turn to synthetic ingredients in specific cases where natural cannot give the same efficacy.

How do I receive my diploma?

After competing the course you have chosen and the final assignment, you will receive your diploma online. You can print and frame this huge milestone and showcase your accomplishment!

What if I need help?

We aim to offer a great support system for our students and you can contact us via email (hello@mbcosmeticsacademy.com) regarding any question you may have on your course. We will answer you within 1-3 business days.

Can I study at my own pace?

Yes, you get lifetime access to our courses so you do not need to put any stress on yourself if life gets in the way sometimes. We want you to succeed!

How will I know what material I’ll need for the course?

With each course, you’ll receive a list containing the minimum equipment/raw materials required to successfully complete the course.
